Hi All, just cleaning up a k75 gearbox and need some advice.
Its a plain aluminium case and is a little stained with gear oil and some battery leakage.
I have cleaned with kero and crc degreaser, but it still has some brown staining.
Any suggestions of useful products and methods to get this to look like new?

Thanks for that.
I had just used some green scotch brite type material ,dry.
Just found that mentioned, so seems to be a great way to get a clean looking 25 year old case.
Dont want mirror or shiny surface.
Seems to be coming up nice, but I am going to get a blister!
Will have to sort some tools.
Cheers.
