Hello everyone my name is Cris and I live in NJ, USA been here 22 years but I was born in Argentina , just got a 87' BMW K100rs yesterday (first bmw bike), but needs to be go over ,its been sitting since last riding season ,I rode it yesterday to my house after I pick it up and I liked it a lot rides 10 times better than my 81 CB750 , it has 35k and got it for $1700 nice price I think and it came with corbin seat and staintune exhaust ,Im sure Im going to have lots of questions in the future but for now I'll search any questions that I may have, thanks for reading

Cheers Cris. That is a good price with that mileage and extras. First off, change ALL fluids and filters (engine oil, trans, final drive, brake, coolant), so at least you start off with known quantities. Tire pressures should be 2.25 bar in the front, 2.5 bar in the rear.

Thank you for all the welcomes , and yes first thing is a good cleaning and start changing all liquids so I know what I have ,it's been sitting under the weather since last season ,tires will be next (Im going to ask for opinions on that)....thank you again

Welcome Chris - I agree with RT, having come from Honda's myself you'll need to get a few hundred miles under your wheels to get the feel of it but they are a fantastic ride once you're gotten used to them. Sounds like you got yourself a bargain. Well done.

welcome aboard Cris. Sounds like a nice bike at a great price. It seems like a lot of these bikes in North America came with Corbin seats.
