Hi all, I'm Ingi from Reykjavik, Iceland.
I am a big fan of BMW cars and bikes alike, even worked at the BMW dealership here in Iceland for six years.
When I got the opportunity to exchange my 1986 Yamaha YX600 Radian for a 1985 BMW K100, I just could'nt say no. This bike came to Iceland in 2005 from the Canary Islands, originaly POLARIS METALLIC (576) but was painted in a Corvette GM Red, witch suits it fine. It has 125.000km on the clock. The previus owner did'nt drive it at all here in Iceland, maybe 2000km. I got two original saddle cases with it.
I just started to overhaull it lightly, bacilky changin everything made of rubber on it.

Welcome to the forum. A great choice of colour for your bike. Good to see others who have the intelligence to get the standard K100. It comes in handy as you don't spend a day pulling all the plastics off to get to the real bike.
