I am a new-ish motorcyclist from Denver. I Got my first bike on my wife's birthday in 2011 (lucky her), a beat up old Honda nighthawk 750 that had been wrecked badly but the damage was all hidden under the tank. I nursed that Japanese beginner bike for 9 months before moving on to a different member of the axis powers. I love my 1987 K100RS with 47000 miles, Klaus (k bikes aren't pretty enough to merit female names in my opinion) and have put 2500 miles on him over five months. This bike is awesome and I will probably never want another one (famous last words). I have wanted a BMW ever since living in Spandau for four months. So far the advice on the forum has solved several different problems I was having, even before I joined.

Welcome Klaus. This is truely an amazing group of enthusiasts that seem to find answers to all problems, and have a good time doing it.

Klaus,

What have we done? In average, I register 4 new members a day, and the number is still climbing.
As you may have found, we are a group of passionate riders liking to share our experience with the K bike. No B.S., just plain help for people in need of support.
I hope that we will be able to answer all your questions and you will quickly become another person able to help others.

Cheers,

CF
