Hey folks,

Does anyone know the weight of the transmission? I need to estimate shipping cost and haven't got access to one out of the bike.

Thanks,
OG

Proves the hypothesis tht those who have been on this forum for any length of time start to do the same things at the same time even though we are thousands of Kilometers apart and never communicate except through this forum. It's caused by all the subliminal messaging going on in this forum by the moderator.

CF is evil. RUN AWAY!!! affraid Very Happy

Does anyone know if updating to the paralever extends the wheel base on the Mk I?

Thanks,
OG

Yes, updating to the paralever extends the wheelbase by 2" over the standard monolever wheelbase.

Thanks again Rob! Not wild about increasing the wheelbase even more on the Bismarck, but I suppose it would create a little more room for the radial swap...

Nice one, OG! That's exactly the direction I'm planning for the K75...but a bit more retro. My template is going to be the SpecialK "Beauty".
Transmission weight? 091221081432_2009-12-04_09.27.53

BTW, I wouldn't like the braking on that black one in your photo, OG. The owner chose the 13mm master cylinder mated up to the 4-pot Brembos. Very soft feel at the lever.
