getting ready to start restoring and fixing a 1988 kl100 that was given as a present to my cousin in canada and the dealership can't figure out what is wrong with it as it was running last year after having to be repaired after a family of mice decide to make a meal out of the wiring ,so he bought it down to me and my father to see what we can do on it and get it back to a running state

Factory manuals you can download here.

Wiring diagrams you find at the portal for the early model,
which is close to similar as the -88.

Ha! I bet if we had a 'tech day' we'd have it on it's feet in an hour. That doesn't sound like too bad a project especially with all the power of this forum behind you! Bring it...

Sounds like a nice project Rbuenning....with my electrical skills I would probably find wiring a mouse easier than figuring out auto electrics What a Face

any chance can someone point me in the right direction to get the wiring guide for this model 1988 k100rs, as im not sure what i am looking for , i have the service manual already downloaded and printed, can't tell you how many trees i have most likely killed at this point , and to make things even better we got a call from my cousin who owns the bike, he found a wiring harness that we are hoping that works so he's got it in canada until we can get access to the bike this week , weather isn't going to be on our side for tommrow and we just want to get started on this the sooner the better
