Now she is gone and it's time for me to move on; Guyra is not my natural home. The strong likelihood is that I will sell up and move back to Europe. At some point the bike and sidecar will be up for sale too...as if I go I won't be coming back. ( I'll buy an outfit over there). Not yet though....

Interesting but the production date of my oldest K100RS is also 07/84 but the last seven of the VIN are 0040517.

Might want to compare economic conditions in Australia and Europe before leaving the "Lucky Country". Just saying .................... I'm a Yank and if I didn't have a good job with the DoD here I'd have migrated by now.

I am a "chalkie",( teacher) so there is always work. In recent years it is my experience that the cost of living has risen so much in Australia that it is becoming increasingly difficult to live here...and is much cheaper in Europe.

even more interesting is the fact that I am with DoD as well, but here, and there are many expat ex military yanks who now live here cause its a really nice place....I have heard that even with the cut backs that ours is still doing ok too....

I believe I saw the headlight mounting cover and speedo back cover Would you be willing to ship to US - VA? He the headlight mounting bracket would support a round standard headlight and speedo - is that what you have. I bought the headlight assy from someone else in this forum, but didn't get the bracket to mount it. Thoughts? Thanks again.

Beware that it is a different mounting bracket on the early naked K100 and K75C,
than the late naked K100/II and K75.
So which one you need depends on which parts you allready got.

I think sean wants "pickup only " on these items ,,,

obviously if a fellow member can provide transport to the buyer, that suits him just fine ...

Blakey , found the helmet in storage the other day, wondering if you are still interested , I can bring it up to Seans, in Nov. it was the only thing we haven't used , no one here that size.
