i have a 1985 k100rt and i was wondering if a 2v clutch is the same clutch plate as a 4v thanks

Yes the 4v clutch from a K1004v or a K1100 4v will fit a K100 8v but the K75 is a bit smaller so be carefull to get the right one. Also the K1200 clutch may fit but I know it does look different so I can't say for sure.

Use an R-1100 S clutch in a K-75 for spirited canyon riding. The four valve clutch does indeed work in a two valve K100. I have one in my paralever conversion. It changes the engagement point and has a different leverage ratio, necessary for the taller gearing of the K1 and K1100, both of which used 2.75 : 1 final drives. The stock K100 clutch will chatter with such tall gearing.
