I have a 1991 K75RT-P and have been riding for almost 30 years on a variety of bikes. until recently I took my bike to the dealer for service but it became apparent that the dealer was not interested in solutions to keep the bike on the road. Rather it was an almost constant sales pitch for a new bike.

I am moderately mechanically inclined but had never worked on my bike. Not even oil changes (face red with embarrassment). I have recently started doing my own work - Replaced fuel lines, replaced fuel pump, upgraded alternator from 32W to 50W, replaced bulbs in the instruments with LED.

Hopefully, this forum with be patient with my newbie questions as I continue my quest to keep my bike on the road. Next stop might be spline lube!!!

Cheers

Got the nickname and subsequent username about a decade ago. Broke my leg (non-bike related accident), first day out of hospital on borrowed crutches and one of them snaps. Broke arm in fall. One week later, fell out of shower when balancing on one foot and broke three ribs when I crashed into the toilet. All good since then. Very Happy
