i road through a torrential rain 2 days ago on a road very close to the seashore, the road was flooded and i noticed my oil light came on & went off a few km after the rain & flood. but since, it comes on and goes off sometimes. 
i understand it might be the brine causing a short circuit, I don't know the location of the sensor.

pls the diagram of the oil/water pump in the clymer's 6 as a nut and 20 as oil pressure warning light switch.
still finding it hard to locate.

well, i used the bike the whole day and the oil light never came on

When I was in France with 88KE we had some wet weather and the same thing happened. Put down to water getting in somewhere.
