The k1100 forks come stock with progressive springs I believe.

Has anyone got any back to back experience riding with the stock springs vs some of the after market springs? I think WP do some, maybe Ohlins, RAM have some I think too....

Im just curious is all.

I think im going to use thinner fork oil, as they seems a bit stiff on the off road sections.

G'day Floyd , I've used White Power & Ohlins in my bike , I took the Ohlins out maybe 12 - 18 months ago , the ride with both is very firm , I went back to the stock springs which had very little use ( I put the WP's in when the bike was about 12 months old ) , teamed up with ARAL 0w-40w multigrade fork oil & a new rear shock ( Ohlins ) , the ride is now nice & compliant
