Hi Guys,
I think some of you are online as I type this. Me again, Squig60. Just wondering has any of you come across a good used "K". I've checked done deal umpteen times. I've found a few. The guy with the K100 in Kildare went to Italy for a holiday and now reckons he's not coming back.

That K looks good and well worth pursuing. I wonder is it Markzz from this forum? Phone number should be good. Replace the 0 with +44. Its not far from Comberjohn, he lives in Clough. PM Comberjohn? Or send me a PM and I will ask him?

It's not Markz. He lives in Belfast rather than Bangor.
Bet he wishes it was his!
I can try to make contact with him or can call and take a look for you. It's just around the corner from where my son lives.
It looks ok if the info is genuine. The price would be about right if it's as clean as it looks.

If I was in the market for a K I would be looking closely at that one. I know Ringfad did something similar for Corkboy, looked for him and got him a K1100 that has just been to France. 

Bangor is a lovely spot and a shortish run from Dundalk. I would reckon go for it if its a good as it looks. At that age condition matters more than miles as most of the mechanicals seem to be unburstable. Best one I have seen on DoneDeal for while.

Yep, Sigmayhew went to see it, declared it good and paid a deposit for me (and later said that he would have bought it if I hadn't). Ringfad picked it up as he had a trailer.  Very handy as I was in Cork and the bike was in Dublin. I was able to collect it from Ringfad after a few weeks, when I could next get to Dublin

So, if you see one let the forum know and somebody might be near enought to look at  it sooner than you can. On saying that, the one you linked to looks about the cleanest example I've seen for a while.

hi sgmayhew,
Thanks for the heads up on the k in Wicklow. I was on it and called the owner. 157.000 miles. Its an import the guy who has it doesn't know much about as he took the bike in part payment of a dept. I'd prefer slightly less mileage

I'm about to pull the trigger on a 1994 K1100LT. It has history thats an inch thick. I hope to have it in about 10 days. I'll keep you all posted as things develop

Inge K.........Of course you are right. ExScottish police. The PO tells me that the bike was used as an "unmarked" bike no blue lights or sirens

Björn........... I have to thank ComberJohn from the forum for pointing me in the direction of this bike. He placed an ad on Gumtree looking for a bike. A guy from Scotland replied and when ComberJohn wasn't interested he passed the details on to me.
