Lads and Ladettes, have only just now discovered a v.slight oil leak, emanating from the hole at the very front, left of centre, of the oil pan sump. It seems to be oil only, not mixed with coolant.

Is it the dreaded seal in the water pump thingo? I've yet to rummage around in that area, so I'm totally unfamiliar.

If I go for a longish (1200 - 1500Km) ride with this leak what grief can I expect?

Cheers, Rickmeister.

If it is as you say very slight I would not be too concerned about it. Just check it every 2-3 km Oil Leak (Ughh!) 44271
All serious now just keep an eye on it but don't let it stop your fun and last ride for about 8 weeks.
