Good morning
(Well it is a beaut here down South today anyway)

How much "float" should the front discs on my K100RS have? They seem to be rather rattly?
I don't know if the bobbins may be worn (80 000 km), and was considering the installation of a wave washer to tighten things up a bit.
BTW: my discs have plenty of meat left, just on 4 mm thick, which makes me think that the PO had replaced them (possibly with ones which have larger fixing cut-outs?)

I also have lost one of the bobbins on the left-hand disc- where do I shop for these?

Cheers

Shouldn't get any rattle or movement you can feel. I found that there are quite a few brands of pads that rattle, I hear it more when I am turning tight when I go slowly. I bought some stainless bobbins from Motobins in UK.
I think that they should all have wave washers on them, I haven't seen any without them except for the non removable type like EBC.

Thanks Rick
Then I am definitely due for a set of bobbins.
A mate is ordering some stuff from Motorworks, I see they also stock the S/steel bobbins. Will get some with his order.
Cheers,
Big G
