I have always marveled at displays that have a cut-a-way engine sitting on a stand, especially with a small motor attached to make it rotate. They are always so beautifully done. I imagine that process is very expensive.
Has anyone here ever done it or even seen it done.
I have a K100 engine with 235,000 us miles on it that is disassembled. It is destined to go to the trash yard (very) soon unless I can find some use for it.
Suggestions?

Here are some pictures to get your ideas going.

Last year I did some tidying up work on the Vincent Black Shadow sectioned engine that Vincents used at motorcycle shows. It was motorised by a club member some years ago and always claims a lot of interest whenever it is displayed. It's actually a privilege to work on such 'works of art'.

So, ibjman, go and find your hacksaw and get cutting.cheers

Paul.

The good news is, I no longer have senior moments. The bad news is, now it's a constant state of mind.
