Heh . . .makes you wonder about HD alright. But, seriously, Kerosene (paraffin) used to be cheap!. NOW it is 2.5 times or more expensive then petrol. We sell it here in the supermatkets @ $5.00 for a plastic bottled litre. Petrol is only $2.10 @ the pump so if you was running a hardley you might want to think about getting a beema :-)))

All you need to do is label it Harley fuel and they would pay $10 a Litre.

When fuel was scarce in 1973/1974 we had lots of two strokes and petrol was hard to get. We used to top it off with paraffin, it was mentioned in the owners manual up I think 50%. We never had any problems with it either. We get different grades now, some is higher quality and bottled for use in indoor heaters that are not room sealed, other lower quality is for central heating boilers [furnaces]. Over here that stuff is about 55% of the coast of gasoline. But hardly any two strokes now......
