I was searching for some info on a problem with my K100RT when I found this forum and joined.
In December 1992 I was opening a box of parts for my Yamaha Eleven Special.
The parts were wrapped in what looked like newspaper. It was actually the Metro Vancouver Buy And Sell motorcycle pages.
After I put the parts in the shop I was reading the buy and sell and there was a 1985 K100RT listed for sale. I phoned the seller and
negotiated a price. I had a family member go and look at it and a few days later I picked the K100RT up at Williams moving and storage.

The Beemer had 16000 kilometres on it and looked like a new bike. It has 57000 on it now and still looks like new.
