Hello from North Carolina!
My name is Dave and I ride a 1987 K100LT I bought a couple years ago. I hadn't owned a bike for years and when I did they were small dirt bikes. So this was a pretty big upgrade. The bike has it's warts, but mainly cosmetic. The fairing needs work. The odometer doesn't work so i have no idea the actual mileage on the bike. A few other small issues but nothing I can't sort out.
As a former dairy farmer I'm probably still more comfortable on a John Deere, but I'm getting there!
I'm looking forward to picking the brains of those with a lot more experience with these bikes than I have. I know most of the questions have already been asked if I do some searching so I'll try not to be too redundant......

Welcome to the K100 farm. Milk this farm for all the information you need.
Hopefully your K100 can outrun a Deere!
