Hello and thank you for allowing me to join this group forum. I have recently purchased my first BMW, a 1989 K100rs. The gentleman I purchased it from tells me it was a British import, so the speedo is in  miles ( here in NZ we use kms). I am hoping to get some good advice and knowledge from this forum as I have ridden mostly Japanese bikes ( with the exception of 1 drunken purchase 20 odd years ago, a 650 Benelli Tornado, not my best life choice lol), and have a few questions around my latest purchase.
