Any tips/tricks for getting the injectors out of the head, or recommendations for which injector puller tool works well?
Thanks!

You have to pull on them. Remove the clips and pull the ramp out. Then pull each injector individually. You may have to wiggle them as the O rings may be have become stocked on the head.

Yeah Bert atomically fused to the head might be a better description. Picture me flying across the garage and landing on my backside, lol, but I had the injector in my hot little hands! Thanks for the help. Stuck Fuel Injectors 112350Stuck Fuel Injectors Dscf0623

BTDT. Why are you pulling them, other than its cool and wet outside, and this is the only way you can touch your bike right now?

I felt I'd snap all of mine clean off when I did the intake sleeves a coupla months back. In the end it was a lot of wiggling and muttering expletives under my breath. This appeared to work like a prayer is said to, as the injectors eventually came out, so I will continue this practice in the future. Wink

Replacing them I used a wisp of grease to ease them back in with new o-rings top and bottom.

I'm just back to getting the ol girl back on the road after a delay of a couple of months. She was running way rich with a lot of build up of fuel on everything when I test rode and purchased her so I've been using Berts flow sheet and going thru everything from the tank down to the engine testing/repairing.

Yeah TWB it was just blind luck on my part that I didn't break the first one off. The o-rings were just a god awful mess and lack of knowledge didn't help either. ;-) Bert's advice on wiggling was key for the other three and of course a friend comes over after the fact with this cheap little l-bracket tool he uses on his on VW's and shows me how to pop one out easy as pie.
