does anyone have a method of getting the copper gaskets out of the exhaust flange on the motor?

I used a screw driver and gentle tapping... I recall that esentially I put a kink into it... Once you have one out you soon get the others out...

Photos below show the difference between an old and a new one.

find a hooked pick, local tool supply.
Dental pick is not strong enough
