Ignition is fine...squirting starting fluid makes it run until it ruins out of gas...fuel pump is good, fuel pressure good

Here is what i have.....when i pull the rail and push the starter, nothing happens from the injectors until i stop the starter, then i get one squirt from each injector, which looks fine..so it must be electrical

I have no voltage going to either side of the injector until i push the starter, then i have 12 volts going to both sides, and they do not seem to be pulsing..i have 12v going to p in 9 of the edu when starter is pushed,

So is this simply grounding, our a relay....any ideas

Just an idea......you might just try disconnecting & reconnecting the main lead plug into the FI computer under the seat.
Probably already tried that? since I see your ref. to pin #9.

Sounds like the injectors need cleaning. They get gummed up over time if they sit with gas in them.

Maybe the idle switch ?

Unplug it.

There is a Black/Yellow wire that goes from the starter relay via a 4 pin plug to pin 4 on the ECU if that wire is not connecting the problem you are having will occur. Check that wire for continuity with an ohms meter and check the 4 pin plug for corrosion, it should be from memory on the left side under the tank up near the ignition control unit it will also have a violet/green, yellow/red and a green/red wires.
It tells the ECU to start firing the ignition and FI untill the Hall sensors send a signal that the engine is running.
Make sure you have fresh fuel in the whole system we have seen here a couple of instances of fuel causing hard to start problems when it is only a few months old.

You had define answer in very brief manner. I got it main point that you like to highlight...But if a car engine was one or two year old then it will apply on it or not?

Our bikes are pushing 25 + years old and connections get bad let alone the mods done by previous owners falling apart. I think a good dose of DeoxIT on every electrical connection where there are contacts is a good starting point for reducing a lot of problems. Let us know how it goes with the four wires to the ECU.
