Hi guys,
Has anyone got any experience of having a Motronic EFI system remapped?
After all the engine mods to my bike, the fueling is quite poor. I've tried different chips in the ECU on a dyno but the thing needs a remap, that's for sure.
I made contact with a guy that does 1000's of remaps on the more modern plug-in BM's but he's gone cold. He initially told me he'd done Motronic remaps but now business has picked up as this cold & windy UK summer is upon us,I've had more excuses than I can count so I'm stuck.

Can anyone out there help me please?

I might suggest that you'll want to move to a more modern EFI system controller than Motronic.  Consider Typhoon 2, MyECU or Megasquirt.  Megasquirt has been successfully adapted to a K75 so a K100 should be possible.  When you factor in the dyno time you'll need to dial in the Motronic modifications, it makes sense to convert.

If anyone has access to a modified  .bin file for the Motronic I can burn a chip and send it to Mike.

He already has the BBR and Harman chip but I think he needs a little more for this machine.

We've tried a BBR chip in the bike but it needs more precise metering of the fuel. The BBR wasn't too bad at low rpm but dumped a massive amount of fuel in between 6 & 7000 rpm.
The best run we got was 88 bhp at the rear wheel with an 1100 chip but that is way too weak until 6K.

This is the run using the 1100 chip.

If you look top right the engine is still making power when the limiter cuts in. RPM ceiling must be lifted.

No idea how much you want to spend, but BSK Speedworks do a bunch of K performance parts

I've discovered that you can't get a Power Commander on a K100 16v. I've spoken to the guys at Dynojet and because the EFI works on batch injection, the PC cannot detect the correct rpm to work with the Motronic.

There is an answer using BMW parts and I'm waiting to see if it comes together.

BMW components no use either as it could be mapped but would still be batched injection.
