A friend of mine has had a K75RT from new. He was telling me on the weekend it is no longer running due to a burnt out wiring loom(don't know anymore details). He's having trouble finding one at a reasonable price.
Don't know the year but it has ABS and the electric screen. Does anyone have have one or have an idea where to source one?

Al

Motobins have them at clearance prices for 93 http://www.motobins.co.uk/displayfinal.php?q=500c&s=1&subs=500c&model=&bike=&title=ALL%20K\
The 94 onwards had the elect screen as standard but the 93 may have had as an option. Certainly worth looking at

When I started to try to repair my K75RT wiring loom, I took fright, saw the looms on the 'bins site, and phoned to order. Unfortunately, the two they have are for the USA models with all the clean air stuff but with ABS. Don't know if there are any other differences from the USA to the standard European model or the Australia model but the impression I got it might be a bit of a fiddle to get all joined up. Suggest contacting them before you order.

PS - 1993 was a change point - the earlier units had 2 large relays in the front right corner of the box - the 1993 on had 4 mini relays in a block in the same space.

The electric screen wiring is not part of the main harness - it is a completely self contained system

The electric screen was a cost extra option on the K75RT- as far as I am aware, only standard on the Ultima and K1100lt

Hope this is of assistance.
